How to report an error
If you believe an article contains a factual error, a misleading statement or an outdated reference, please contact us via our Contact page. Please include:
- The title or link of the article
- The specific statement you believe is incorrect
- Any supporting source or evidence, if available
What happens next
- Our editorial team reviews every report, usually within 3–5 working days.
- If a factual error is confirmed, the article is corrected and a short correction note is added explaining what was changed and when.
- Minor changes such as typos, formatting or broken links may be corrected without a note.
- If an article can no longer be supported by the evidence, it may be substantially updated or removed.
Updates
Health information changes as new evidence emerges. We may update articles to reflect new research or guidance; significant updates are indicated in the article.
